Over the years, it has welcomed performances from Marie Lloyd, Harry Lauder and Charlie Chaplin, Billy Connolly, The Krankies and Lulu. It has also welcomed comedians such as John Bishop, Sara Pascoe and Jason Manford.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"shortcode-ad-holder within-content\">\n<div class=\"single-square-ad\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/adverts\/3d-digital-venue-march23\/\" class=\"ad-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"square-banner\" src=\" https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/3DDV-500x700-1.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"single-wide-ad\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/adverts\/3d-digital-venue-march23\/\" class=\"ad-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wide-banner\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2023\/04\/03\/trafalgar-entertainment-acquires-glasgows-pavilion-theatre\/\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>In January this year, the sale of The Pavilion to Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2023\/01\/06\/sale-of-pavilion-theatre-to-atg-falls-through\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fell through<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled and delighted to have the opportunity to be the future operators of The Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow,\u201d said Dame Rosemary Squire. \u201cOver the past five decades the current owners, the general manager Iain Gordon, and his team have done a fantastic job.\u00a0 We pay tribute to their tenacity, commitment and hard work \u2013 and the legacy they leave.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Helen Enright, chief executive of Trafalgar Entertainment, added: \u201cGlasgow is a vibrant, energetic city and The Pavilion Theatre has earned its place in the city\u2019s entertainment landscape.
