Prior to that, Pearce was the managing director of Ticketmaster Resale where he led the successful launch of its Fan-to-Fan Ticket Exchange, before moving to lead Ticketmaster\u2019s international marketing division.<\/p>\n<p>Pearce also brings with him a UK theatre pedigree as the previous managing director of West End Theatre Bookings.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"shortcode-ad-holder within-content\">\n<div class=\"single-square-ad\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/adverts\/3d-digital-venue-march23\/\" class=\"ad-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"square-banner\" src=\" https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/3DDV-500x700-1.gif\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"single-wide-ad\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/adverts\/3d-digital-venue-march23\/\" class=\"ad-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wide-banner\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2023\/04\/05\/people-on-the-move-ticketmaster-nederlander-concerts\/\"\/><\/a><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cDan\u2019s knowledge of Ticketmaster and this industry is unrivalled, bringing with him the rare ability to wholly hit the ground running,\u201d said Andrew Parsons, managing director of Ticketmaster UK. \u201cI am confident Dan will quickly deliver results for our clients, drive value for our partners and lead this exemplary team\u2019s continued success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The appointment news comes off the back of Alex Berti stepping up into the vice-president, client development role with a focus on the ever-increasing attractions and immersive sectors, and Rebecca Lott taking on the senior director \u2013 strategic accounts role to support clients in achieving their goals.<\/p>\n<p>The company said: \u201cTogether with Pearce, this expanding client development team will remain focused on delivering the best experience for clients and their fans in the UK.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nederlander Concerts has announced the promotion of <strong>Jamie Loeb<\/strong> to senior vice-president.<\/p>\n<p>Loeb, who joined the business in 2008 as vice-president of marketing, will continue to report directly to the chief executive officer, Alex Hodges.<\/p>\n<p>Loeb is responsible for the online development, marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns for Nederlander\u2019s venues and its bookings at third-party facilities. With local, regional and national experience, Loeb has created innovative strategies and tour marketing campaigns, which integrate traditional and digital technologies resulting in a deeper connection between artists, their fans and ticket sales.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom her first day at Nederlander Concerts, Jamie has been an incredibly strong leader,\u201d said Hodges. \u201cShe has helped Nederlander Concerts maintain its position as one of the most important independent promoters in North America. She was instrumental in getting us through the height of the pandemic and a successful rebound last year with our return to a full schedule of performances.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Oak View Group and Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs has announced the promotion of <strong>Drew Gershenson<\/strong> to vice president of content, Acrisure Arena and OVG Southwest Division.<\/p>\n<p>Gershenson joined OVG in December 2021 and previously served as director of booking for Acrisure Arena. He will report to John Page, senior vice president of Acrisure Arena, the Coachella Valley Firebirds, and OVG360 Facilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re pleased to support Drew\u2019s continued growth within Oak View Group,\u201d said Page. \u201cSince joining the team in 2021, Drew has proven himself to be a\u00a0strategic\u00a0team leader and we are confident he will bring the same passion and drive to his new role as we continue to expand our reach throughout the southwest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alex Lane<\/strong> has been appointed festival manager of Superstruct Entertainment\u2019s Truck Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Lane, formerly procurement and operations manager at Green Man Festival, will work on the UK festival that attracts 30,000 attendees annually. Truck Festival, which takes place in July in Oxfordshire, will this year be led by Royal Blood and Alt-J.<\/p>\n<p>The New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) has announced that <strong>Harold Steward<\/strong> will join the organisation as the next executive director.<\/p>\n<p>Steward is currently the executive director and cultural strategist at The Theatre Offensive (TTO), a Boston-based nonprofit organisation. Previously, Steward, who was manager of the South Dallas Cultural Center, which provides instruction and enrichment in the arts with an emphasis on the African contribution to world culture, will officially join NEFA in July.<\/p>\n<p>Conductor and violinist <strong>Andr\u00e9s Orozco-Estrada<\/strong> has been appointed to the position of music director of the City of Cologne and G\u00fcrzenich Kapellmeister.<\/p>\n<p>In his new role, Colombian national Orozco-Estrada will be responsible for the G\u00fcrzenich Orchestra Cologne and the Cologne Opera.<\/p>\n<p><i>Do you have news of an appointment that we should know about?
