{"id":4167,"date":"2023-04-17T06:08:44","date_gmt":"2023-04-17T13:08:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/17\/brits-snap-up-tickets-for-paris-2024-olympics\/"},"modified":"2023-04-17T06:08:44","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T13:08:44","slug":"brits-snap-up-tickets-for-paris-2024-olympics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2023\/04\/17\/brits-snap-up-tickets-for-paris-2024-olympics\/","title":{"rendered":"Brits snap up tickets for Paris 2024 Olympics\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"primary\">\n<p class=\"standfirst\">British people have purchased the most tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games outside of France.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Next year\u2019s Olympics and Paralympics will be the first time the events have been held in Europe since London 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2023\/03\/10\/over-3-25-million-paris-2024-tickets-snapped-up-in-first-sales-phase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3.25 million tickets<\/a> were purchased during the first sales phase.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityam.com\/brits-buy-more-paris-2024-olympics-tickets-than-any-other-overseas-nation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">City A.M<\/a>, Paris 2024 chief executive Etienne Thobois said: \u201cThe memories from 2012 are still around and we kind of piggyback on that. The first phase [of ticket sales] has been fantastically encouraging.
