Tixel has become the exclusive resale platform for a number of UK festivals thanks to a partnership with festival group, Superstruct UK.\u00a0 \n<\/p>\n
The partnership will cover eight events that are part of Superstruct UK\u2019s portfolio, including Bluedot, Boardmasters, Christmas at Bute Park, Kendal Calling, NASS, Tramlines Festival, Truck Festival and Y Not Festival.<\/p>\n
Zac Leigh, chief executive and co-founder of Tixel, said: \u201cSuperstruct UK is a force in live entertainment and the calibre of festivals and live music events the team oversees is impressive. The Australian ticketing marketplace launched its UK operations in late 2021<\/a> and last year took home the Product Innovation award at TheTicketingBusiness Awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n Leigh added: \u201cToday\u2019s ticket buyer is different to who they were three years ago. We\u2019re much more used to digital and in-app purchasing and around 80% of us say that we\u2019re more likely to buy a ticket if we know that we can easily resell it later.
