The venue is managed by the not-for-profit Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Santa Barbara Bowl was built in 1936 and has hosted artists such as Bob Marley, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Katy Perry and more.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Goldenvoice senior vice-president Moss Jacobs will continue to book the venue.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jacobs said: \u201cThe Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation has been a vital partner. Helping Goldenvoice to foster incredible talent at one of the finest outdoor venues in the world.\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Foundation understands the significance of partnering with a substantial national organisation to benefit this amazing local community.\u00a0 This contract will allow us to build on the foundation of past great events to improve the already amazing stature of the Santa Barbara Bowl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rick Boller, Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation executive director, added: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to sign this booking agreement with Goldenvoice for another decade. The relationship has allowed us to grow the organisation and continue to bring amazing programming to the community, making the extension a natural fit.\u00a0 AEG Presents, Goldenvoice, and Moss Jacobs\u2019 commitment to the venue and to concert programming that matches the diversity of our community are always at the forefront of this partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation\u2019s mission is to continue to renovate and maintain the venue, and through local individuals, foundations and corporations, over $43m (\u00a334m\/\u20ac39m) has been invested in capital improvements.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>These include the signature Pavilion production roof, upgraded ADA seating areas, audience amenities and backstage facilities.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To ensure long-term sustainability and positive local impact, the Bowl also supports and donates resources to youth and performing arts education throughout Santa Barbara County.
