Rock icons Aerosmith have announced their farewell \u2018Peace Out\u2019 tour, with performances set for venues across the US and Canada.<\/p>\n
The band will be accompanied on their final tour by fellow rock band, The Black Crowes.<\/p>\n
Aerosmith said in a joint statement: \u201cIt\u2019s not goodbye, it\u2019s peace out! Get ready and walk this way, you\u2019re going to get the best show of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 40-date tour will be produced by Live Nation, and will begin in Philadelphia on September 2, with further stops including the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden, Austin\u2019s Moody Center, Seattle\u2019s Climate Pledge Arena, Chicago\u2019s United Center and Toronto\u2019s Scotiabank Arena among many more.<\/p>\n
The tour will then wrap up at Montreal\u2019s Benn Centre on January 26 next year. There will also be a stop in Boston for a hometown show on New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n
Tickets will go on general sale from May 5 through Live Nation-owned Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n
The tour will also offer a range of different VIP packages and experiences, which can include a premium reserved ticket, a personal photo opportunity with band members, limited edition merchandise and more.<\/p>\n
Drummer Joey Kramer will not be joining the farewell tour, with the band saying: \u201cWhile Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey\u2019s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed.\u201d<\/p>\n
The band most recently wrapped up their Las Vegas residency, \u2018Aerosmith: Deuces are Wild\u2019 at Dolby Live at Park MGM.<\/p>\n
Leading up to their residency, Aerosmith also played a hometown gig at Boston\u2019s Fenway Park, which attracted 38,700 fans \u2013 the most tickets sold to date for a show at the venue.<\/p>\n
