The venue is owned by Electric Group, which also owns Electric Brixton in London, SWX in Bristol and Newcastle\u2019s NX.<\/p>\n<p>The Leadmill is now calling for further help from fans, and said in a statement: \u201cOur landlords are moving forward with their plans to evict the Leadmill by applying for a premises licence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf granted, this would allow them to operate their own business from this location. This could result in The Leadmill ceasing to exist after 43 years. We are asking for your help in objecting to their licence application before Wednesday May 24.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Help to save The Leadmill.
