The new ownership structure will see Ticketmaster Mexico transition from a licensing agreement to integrating operations within the broader organisation.<\/p>\n<p>The Mexican business already sells more than 20 million tickets each year and Ticketmaster said that the new-look structure will allow it to gain access to the full Ticketmaster suite of technology, products and services.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ticketmaster said its launch in Chile will see it initially focus on increasing digital ticketing use, promoting how this will offer a speedier, frictionless way for fans to receive, transfer and scan tickets.<\/p>\n<p>Ticketmaster already has a presence in Latin America via its Argentina operations, while the company also focuses on supporting Live Nation\u2019s \u2018Rock In Rio\u2019 music festival and touring business in Brazil, with plans to bring its digital ticketing technology to the market in 2022<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLatin America is an incredibly important live entertainment market and a core focus of our global expansion efforts,\u201d Ticketmaster president Mark Yovich said. \u201cThe region has become an important destination for global touring artists, and we have also seen significant growth in venue and festival activity over the last several years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBringing Mexico into the fold and launching in Chile is such a positive way to finish off the year.
