FC Barcelona\u2019s board of directors have agreed to a 50% reduction in the prices of season ticket prices for the 2023-24 season, which will be spent at Estadi Ol\u00edmpic Llu\u00eds Companys. \n<\/p>\n
The move has been made in response to fan\u2019s displeasure at the Spanish LaLiga club\u2019s initial ticketing details<\/a>, which saw up to a 30% increase in price for season tickets.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The initial prices stood at \u20ac1,738 (\u00a31,500\/$1,900), \u20ac1,002, \u20ac905 and \u20ac723, and the reduction in prices will see season ticket passes now cost between \u20ac870 and \u20ac360. These prices also reflect a 25% decrease compared to current prices at Camp Nou.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Barcelona is making the temporary switch to Estadi Ol\u00edmpic Llu\u00eds Companys while work is carried out on Camp Nou, as part of the club\u2019s wide-ranging Espai Bar\u00e7a<\/a> project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Barcelona vice-president Elena Fort said: \u201cSince the first prices were set, which responded to economic demands in the face of a difficult year, the club set out to work with the passivity of being able to readjust the prices.\u201d<\/p>\n The move also means that any season ticket sales made to date have been cancelled, and sales will begin again from Tuesday, May 30. An exclusive pre-sale period of 48 hours will be available to current holders that have attended a minimum of 85% of home matches in the current season. Those that had already made their season ticket request in the first purchase process will also have access to this pre-sale.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
