West End Live organisers have revealed this year\u2019s line-up, with 40 West End shows set to offer a taste of London\u2019s theatre for free in Trafalgar Square.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The event, which is also Europe\u2019s largest free musical theatre festival, is set to run on June 17-18.<\/p>\n
West End Live\u2019s 2023 line-up features almost every single musical that is currently playing in the West End, with tens of thousands of theatre-lovers expected to flock to London. Some of the shows include Back To The Future The Musical, The Book Of Mormon, The Choir Of Man, Disney\u2019s Frozen, Jersey Boys, Heathers The Musical, Magic Mike Live, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, The Phantom Of The Opera and Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.<\/p>\n
Tina Turner died last week at the age of 83.<\/p>\n
Productions making their debut at West End Live include 42nd Street, Crazy For You, Glory Ride, Idiots Assemble: Spitting Image The Musical, Operation Mincemeat, The SpongeBob Musical, A Strange Loop and The Wizard Of Oz.<\/p>\n
The event is run by Westminster City Council in partnership with the Society of London Theatre (SOLT), with the support of the Mayor of London.<\/p>\n
Councillor Tim Roca, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Sound People, Learning and Leisure, said: \u201cWest End Live is a highlight of the Westminster calendar so we\u2019re very excited to invite fans to another weekend of incredible live performances in Trafalgar Square.<\/p>\n
