This means that with over one month to go before kick-off, we have surpassed the numbers sold for France 2019, thus meaning that Australia &amp; New Zealand 2023 is on track to become the most attended FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup in history. The future is women \u2013 and thanks to the fans for supporting what will be the greatest FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup ever.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe momentum is building in the host countries and across the globe, and I look forward to seeing you there to witness the stars of women\u2019s football shine on the world stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Auckland\u2019s Eden Park (pictured) is set to host the opening game on July 20, with New Zealand taking on Norway. Later the same day, Australia will take on Republic of Ireland at Sydney\u2019s Accor Stadium.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Australia\u2019s opening match was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestadiumbusiness.com\/2023\/01\/31\/accor-stadium-to-host-australias-womens-world-cup-opener\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">moved<\/a> to Accor Stadium (also known as Stadium Australia) from the 42,500-capacity Allianz Stadium due to a demand for tickets.
