Vivendi is the parent company of UM and owner of See Tickets, Digitick and Paylogic. The 10% sale cost PSTH $4bn.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Iconic North American media brand Sports Illustrated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2021\/06\/17\/sports-illustrated-launches-branded-ticket-marketplace-si-tix\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">entered the ticketing market<\/a> with is nominal flat-fee marketplace, SI Tix. The platform is licensed by Sports Illustrated owners Authentic Brands Group and is reportedly powered by itinerary from Ticket Evolution and Ticket Network. It plans to host millions of tickets for more than 100,000 concerts.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Deutsche Entertainment AG (DEAG) continued the trend of mergers and acquisitions by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2021\/06\/15\/deag-acquires-promoter-uk-live\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acquiring promoter and event organiser UK Live Limited<\/a>. The deal for 90% of UK Live\u2019s shares, via DEAG\u2019s UK subsidiary Kilimanjaro Holdings Ltd, enabled the company to expand its presence in the UK market.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>China saw <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2021\/06\/04\/shanghai-concert-becomes-chinas-biggest-post-covid-music-event\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">its biggest music show<\/a> since the COVID-19 outbreak with 10,000 fans at a sold-out Re-Tros gig in Shanghai.
