{"id":4656,"date":"2023-06-16T07:27:08","date_gmt":"2023-06-16T14:27:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2023\/06\/16\/laliga-clubs-reportedly-reach-agreement-over-away-ticket-price-cap\/"},"modified":"2023-06-16T07:27:08","modified_gmt":"2023-06-16T14:27:08","slug":"laliga-clubs-reportedly-reach-agreement-over-away-ticket-price-cap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2023\/06\/16\/laliga-clubs-reportedly-reach-agreement-over-away-ticket-price-cap\/","title":{"rendered":"LaLiga clubs reportedly reach agreement over away ticket price cap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"primary\">\n<p class=\"standfirst\">Spanish LaLiga football clubs have reached an agreement that will see a minimum of 300 tickets designated for away fans cost a maximum price of \u20ac25 (\u00a321\/$26), according to reports. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/samleveridge\/2023\/06\/14\/11-laliga-clubs-agree-to-reduce-ticket-prices-for-spanish-soccer-fans\/?sh=789a13341c60\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forbes<\/a> has reported that 11 clubs have agreed to the ticketing deal, which follows a similar policy to the English Premier League, where tickets for away supporters are capped at \u00a330.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The 11 clubs are Almer\u00eda, Athletic Club, Atl\u00e9tico de Madrid, C\u00e1diz, Celta Vigo, Girona, Mallorca, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Sevilla and Valencia.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It has not yet been confirmed, but Forbes reported that the three newly promoted clubs from Segunda Divisi\u00f3n are expected to also join the initiatives.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>FC Barcelona is also reportedly considering the agreement, but the club\u2019s temporary move to the Estadi Ol\u00edmpic Llu\u00eds Companys will mean a restricted capacity. Remaining clubs that reportedly haven\u2019t joined the deal include Getafe, Osasuna, Rayo Vallecano, Real Madrid and Villarreal.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The deal is yet to be finalised, but it is expected that clubs will want to include permission for one exception per season, meaning they would be able to ignore the \u20ac25 cap for that game. Clubs could then place higher price tags on more in-demand matches such as derby fixtures.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It is hoped that the away ticket cap would help to boost LaLiga\u2019s average attendances.
