Shows on offer include \u2018Wicked\u2019, \u2018Mamma Mia\u2019 and the new \u2018Back To The Future \u2013 The Musical\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The new year sale campaign is backed by collaborations with partners across political institutions, business, leisure, transport and the arts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheatre is nothing without its audiences. As a thank you to those who have already come back \u2013 and an invitation to those who have not yet returned \u2013 London\u2019s world-famous West End has come together to make it easier than ever to see a show at the start of 2022,\u201d OLT said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>To mark the sale, OLT has launched a promotional film paying tribute to the shows taking part in the new year sale, and backed by Queen\u2019s stirring anthem \u2018Don\u2019t Stop Me Now\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Have yourself a real good time with theatre for less in the New Year Sale\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EodcHJxZq50?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A new portrait exhibition from celebrated photographer Rankin, capturing the talent and resilience of London\u2019s theatre workforce, has also been launched in tandem with the new year sale. These images can be spotted on railway platforms, in shop fronts and have even been featured on the Piccadilly Lights.<\/p>\n<p>Julian Bird, chief executive of SOLT, said: \u201cWe are hugely grateful to all our audiences for their ongoing support. We all need the escapism that theatre brings, so what better way to start 2022 than with the magic of world-class live entertainment?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a true reflection of theatre\u2019s importance that so many partners and organisations \u2013 from the Mayor of London\u2019s Let\u2019s Do London campaign to legendary photographer Rankin \u2013 have pulled together to help celebrate theatre and the new year sale.
