If you\u2019ve taken a look at the updates<\/a> AttendStar has been making during the latter part of 2020, you may have noticed that we\u2019ve been adding to our team of ticketing and event experts. Today, I\u2019d like to introduce you to one of our newest team members, Tyler Disch, whose focus will be on partner sales.<\/p>\n Actually, this is not the first time Tyler has worked with AttendStar. He started helping us a year ago, but as we wind down the tumultuous year that 2020 has been, Tyler\u2019s role has grown to help educate event organizers about the new AttendStar Venue Directory<\/a>!<\/p>\n Just like everyone else working in and with the event industry this year, we\u2019ve suffered during 2020 at AttendStar. While events became more infrequent (or nonexistent for a bit) and it took time for online events to ramp up, we invested our time into improving our software, finding new ways to support event planners and committees, and adding key people to our team.<\/p>\n At AttendStar, we\u2019re known for delivering the best service to our clients in addition to a comprehensive ticketing platform and services that anyone can afford. Our new free Venue Directory is just one way we do it by helping venues book more events and helping event organizers find the perfect locations.<\/p>\n Tyler\u2019s role is to spread the word about the new Venue Directory. We\u2019re taking free signups from venues now, so don\u2019t be surprised if Tyler calls you to tell you about it!<\/p>\n \u201cNot only does the Venue Directory help connect venues with event planners and committees, but it\u2019s also free \u2013 always,\u201d says Tyler. \u201cThe directory will never include advertising, and AttendStar will never sell anyone\u2019s data. This isn\u2019t a profit-making tool for AttendStar. The primary purpose is to help the event community.\u201d<\/p>\n With a background in marketing and sales, Tyler understands what event planners need and is a perfect fit for the AttendStar team. \u201cAttendStar\u2019s founder, Gary Bradshaw, and everyone at AttendStar has a passion for events and growing events, especially big outdoor events,\u201d he shares. \u201cAttendStar really is a partner to every client and provides personalized attention, onsite support, marketing, logistics, and of course, ticketing.
