Attendees to some NFL and MLS games will now have a shorter waiting time thanks to newly implemented security screening technology.<\/p>\n
Nissan Stadium, which is home to the Tennessee Titans, has reduced its security queues after utilising technology from Evolv Technology, which specialises in weapons detection through security screenings for venues and other companies.<\/p>\n
Evolv also worked with\u00a0Lower.com\u00a0Field, which is home to MLS franchise Columbus Crew, to enable management to accommodate up to 16,000 fans entering the stadium through one gate.<\/p>\n
Utilising Evolv Express,\u00a0Lower.com\u00a0Field was able to integrate security screening, ticketing and facial scanning, with the process becoming a more streamlined and touchless experience for MLS fans.<\/p>\n
Mercedes-Benz Stadium (pictured), which is home to the NFL\u2019s Atlanta Falcons and MLS side Atlanta United, has also improved its entry procedure and security screening process using Evolv technology.<\/p>\n
Elvov encompasses technology driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI) to detect weapons upon entry, with organisers and management teams able to use its Evolv Cortex AI software platform and Evolv Insights analytics to continue to improve fan entry experience.<\/p>\n
Operations and security teams are able to review Evolv\u2019s dashboard for changes in traffic to identify improvements, such as repositioning scanners to enhance flow.<\/p>\n
Peter George, chief executive of Evolv Technology, said: \u201cWe are transforming sports events from the era of waiting in large, threat-prone crowds, through long lines and invasive bag checks to a safer, touchless experience.<\/p>\n

Evolv recently hired John Baier as vice-president of sports. Baier has spent the last 15 years with BSE Global, the parent company of the NBA\u2019s Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cWe love watching fans\u2019 faces when they realise they don\u2019t have to stop as they walk through Evolv Express. Once a stadium implements Evolv Express, the atmosphere and energy level on the outside of the stadium matches the inside.<\/p>\n
