Live entertainment company AEG Presents has announced a virtual benefit concert to support the survivors of the Marshall Fire.<\/p>\n
AEG Presents Rocky Mountains chairman emeritus, Chuck Norris, revealed the benefit concert alongside Colorado Governor Jared Polis, Community Foundation Boulder County president Tatiana Hernandez and Nathaniel Rateliff of Colorado-based band Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats.<\/p>\n
The fires broke out on December 30 and destroyed more than 1,000 homes and a number of businesses. The Marshall Fire has been recorded as the most destructive fire in Colorado\u2019s history.<\/p>\n
The pre-recorded concert will go live online on February 28 and will feature more than 15 Colorado-based artists as well as national music acts.<\/p>\n
Governor Polis said: \u201cMusic itself can be healing, and the funds raised by this event will go a long way towards helping Coloradans impacted by the Marshall Fire to rebuild their lives and communities.<\/p>\n

Rateliff added: \u201cThe Marshall fire was a devastating event. Our neighbours to the north had their world turned upside down within a few hours. I am honoured to do anything I can to help those affected by the fire to get back on their feet.\u201d<\/p>\n
AEG\u2019s Norris said: \u201cI want to thank Governor Polis and all of the sponsors, from corporations to non-profits, for ensuring countless people can support the Boulder community with every penny going towards victims of the fires.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe power of Colorado\u2019s music community to band together and lend their talents for free makes me proud to be in the music business.\u201d<\/p>\n
The benefit concert will be streamed via Veeps, a direct-to-fan experiential platform founded in 2017. Tickets are already on sale and are available for a minimum of a $10 (\u00a37.47\/\u20ac8.74) donation.<\/p>\n
