Users of social media platform, Snapchat will now be able to find shows performed by their favourite artists via \u2018Ticketmatcher\u2019 Mini, in partnership with ticketing company, Ticketmaster.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Fans will be matched with upcoming shows based on their favourite music genres, and will be able to browse events from Ticketmaster\u2019s catalogue and send invitations to friends by the chat, or sending a snap.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Snapchat\u2019s first-ever partnered Map Layer, Snap Map, will also offer inspiration of upcoming events in nearby cities and locations, with \u2018snapchatters\u2019 able to swipe left and right to explore the options available. Users will even be able to purchase tickets there and then, according to the social media platform.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Dan Armstrong, executive vice-president of distributed commerce at Ticketmaster, said: \u201cTicketmaster builds partnerships and product solutions that put our clients\u2019 live events in front of the most engaged, likely ticket buyers.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWorking with Snap enables us to deeply engage a new generation of event goers.
