{"id":812,"date":"2022-02-18T02:30:45","date_gmt":"2022-02-18T10:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/02\/18\/asm-global-and-ilmc-link-up-to-expand-bursary-scheme\/"},"modified":"2022-02-18T02:30:45","modified_gmt":"2022-02-18T10:30:45","slug":"asm-global-and-ilmc-link-up-to-expand-bursary-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/02\/18\/asm-global-and-ilmc-link-up-to-expand-bursary-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"ASM Global and ILMC link up to expand bursary scheme\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Venue and event management company ASM Global and the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) have announced a new partnership.<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration hopes to expand the ILMC\u2019s Alia Dann Swift Bursary Scheme, which helps to promote and encourage the next generation of young executive talent.<\/p>\n<p>It will be supported by ASM Global\u2019s corporate social responsibility platform, ASM Global Acts, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2021\/10\/19\/asm-global-launches-social-responsibility-platform\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched in October<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n<p>The bursary scheme was founded in 2018 and was named after the late Alia Dann Swift, a longstanding ILMC producer.<\/p>\n<p>The scheme will witness 30 young executives given a place at this year\u2019s conference in April. It will also give recipients the opportunity to meet a new mentor and network with other professionals for the live music and events industry.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Bray (pictured left), executive vice-president, Europe, at ASM Global, said: \u201cAfter a difficult two years for live events, it\u2019s exciting to be looking to the future and supporting young executives as the industry recovers from the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt ASM Global, we are committed to investing in people and strengthening communities all over the world. Through the company\u2019s ASM Global Acts platform, we\u2019re able to take action and create real opportunities for the next generation of industry leaders, so we are delighted to be partnering with ILMC on the Alia Dann Swift Bursary Scheme and look forward to meeting with the chosen delegates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ILMC head, Greg Parmley (pictured right), added: \u201cASM\u2019s shared passion for supporting and developing the next generation of business leaders allows us to supercharge the bursary scheme this year.
