A general sale will commence on April 20.<\/p>\n<p>The first year of The Hundred saw 510,000 tickets snapped up and issued for the competition, with 19% of all tickets accounted for by under 16s. Some 55% of ticket holders had never bought a ticket to watch cricket in this country before.<\/p>\n<p>Younger fans are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theticketingbusiness.com\/2022\/01\/27\/the-hundred-continues-young-fan-focused-approach-for-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">still at the forefront<\/a> of the family-focused tournament \u2013 which sees both men\u2019s and women\u2019s championships run simultaneously \u2013 with low ticket prices to appeal to as many people as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets will be available to those under 16 for just \u00a35 ($6.70\/\u20ac6) while children under five can watch the action for free.<\/p>\n<p>The Hundred has also been a champion of women\u2019s cricket, with some of the highest ever attendances for the women\u2019s game globally.<\/p>\n<p>There are eight teams based across seven cities in England and Wales and initial players for men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams have already been announced, with further players to be picked during the men\u2019s draft in March. New signings will also be announced by the women\u2019s teams at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>Issy Wong, who will play once more for Birmingham Phoenix, said: \u201cI\u2019m so excited to be playing with Birmingham Phoenix this summer. Last year was incredible for us and the women\u2019s game, it\u2019s only going to get bigger and better with world-class players like Ellyse Perry being able to join this time around.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t wait to get going and to perform in front of full houses again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eoin Morgan, who will feature for London Spirit again, added: \u201cThe first year of The Hundred was a huge success.
