Our weekly tech round-up from the world of ticketing and associated industries\u2026\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n AmazeVR<\/strong>, a virtual reality concert platform, and artist Megan Thee Stallion<\/strong>, have revealed Enter Thee Hottievers, a virtual tour that will take place across 10 cities around the US between April and July this year.<\/p>\n After fans have bought tickets, they can head to their local cinema where they will be presented with \u2018Hottie Mounted Displays\u2019 \u2013 VR headsets. Not only will attendees be transported to a live concert, but can also hang out in the VR Hottieverse lobby beforehand.<\/p>\n AmazeVR has worked with venues to bring virtual reality to fans while also making sure that attendees will be safe. Headsets and locations will also be sanitised before each virtual experience.<\/p>\n The Knot<\/strong>, a digital wedding planning and registry platform, has announced that The Knot Registry Store will now also offer over 120 sports events tickets.<\/p>\n Tickets will cover major US sports including the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Hockey League (NHL) and Women\u2019s National Basketball Association (WNBA).<\/p>\n The Knot Registry Store has also added international experiences for engaged couples, on top of sporting tickets. The new options will be supplied by partner Spur Experiences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n English Championship club <\/b>Birmingham City<\/strong> <\/b>has partnered with esports company, Ultimo GG<\/strong>, announcing plans to enter the metaverse.<\/p>\n In December, work began on scanning and mapping a digital recreation of Birmingham\u2019s St. Andrew\u2019s Stadium. Once completed, Birmingham\u2019s metaverse concept will offer commercial opportunities for the club, engagement and entertainment opportunities for fans, and fundraising opportunities for its community and charity causes.<\/p>\n Other plans include a digital museum and a partner showcase.
