{"id":931,"date":"2022-03-03T02:00:21","date_gmt":"2022-03-03T10:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/03\/indian-premier-league-games-to-operate-at-25-capacity\/"},"modified":"2022-03-03T02:00:21","modified_gmt":"2022-03-03T10:00:21","slug":"indian-premier-league-games-to-operate-at-25-capacity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.goticketly.com\/index.php\/2022\/03\/03\/indian-premier-league-games-to-operate-at-25-capacity\/","title":{"rendered":"Indian Premier League games to operate at 25% capacity\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 could be set to welcome fully-vaccinated spectators to stadiums at a 25% capacity, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s event is set to take place across Mumbai and Pune, which are located in the Indian state of Maharashtra.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the March 26 start date for the cricket competition, the Maharashtra Government met with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to discuss the running of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espncricinfo.com\/story\/maharashtra-government-allows-fans-to-attend-ipl-2022-at-25-capacity-1303291\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ESPNcricinfo<\/a> reported that The Maharashtra Government approved the attendance of those fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>In a series of tweets, Cabinet Minister of Tourism and Environment for the Government of Maharashtra, Aditya Thackeray, who was present at the meeting, said: \u201cTo ensure the smooth flow of the IPL, Minister Eknath Shinde ji and I conducted a joint meeting of IPL, BCCI with officers of Police and Municipal Corporations of Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Pune, the meeting will be held soon, proposed to be chaired by DCM sir to ensure that the tournament is successfully carried out in all our city venues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIPL coming to Maharashtra ensures that the games aren\u2019t played overseas.
