Ticketmaster has launched Ticketmaster Attractions, a new business segment that will offer technology and services tailored specifically to the needs of immersive event producers, exhibit operators, promoters and agencies.
The Live Nation-owned ticketing platform believes that attractions and exhibitions are one of the fastest growing live entertainment segments, which can be backed up by the success of the immersive Van Gogh experience that has been touring the globe.
Ticketmaster Attractions will offer partners access to technology and services that will focus on the entire event lifecycle from launch strategy to onsale and operations, through to timed-entry ticketing and pricing tools.
Operators and organisers will also gain access to Ticketmaster’s network to reach new audiences, as well as promote events through Ticketmaster’s travel partners including Expedia, Groupon, Get Your Guide and Tiqets to entice travellers looking for things to do and visit. Ticketmaster will also offer its fan support services through the new Attractions segment.
Ticketmaster has previously partnered with attractions producers such as Lighthouse Immersive, the organisers behind Immersive Van Gogh (pictured), leading to the introduction of Ticketmaster Attractions.
Andrew Sider, Ticketmaster executive vice-president of festivals and general admission, said: “We have partnered with leading promoters and agencies to power some of the most loved global experiences.
“Attractions are an exciting segment with a lot of growth opportunity. Ticketmaster Attractions is built to help promoters succeed. We have designed this solution to offer more than just ticketing and marketing expertise. We’re here to support our partners across every stage of the business.”
Jonathon Holmes, director of sales and ticketing, Lighthouse Immersive, added: “Partnering on Immersive Van Gogh and our other exhibits has helped us grow at a staggering pace over the past two years.
“The journey has not been easy and Ticketmaster has helped us every step of the way. It’s truly a pleasure to work with their team.”
