Ticketing, fundraising and marketing solutions provider for college athletics, Paciolan, has partnered with Oklahoma State University (OSU) Athletics.
Fans will now be able to purchase mobile tickets, receive them via tex message and gain entry through the use of mobile wallets. By making an account, fans can transfer or resell unused tickets if they are no longer able to attend games at OSA’s T.Boone Pickens Stadium, Gallagher-Iba Arena and other venues.
Paciolan-powered ticketing will be integrated into Oklahoma State’s athletic website and mobile application, which is powered by Sidearm Sports. The Sidearm Sports mobile application will enable fans to purchase tickets and access them through the app, or mobile wallet.
The website integration also provides Oklahoma State with real-time access to ticket inventory, pricing and availability to help sell more tickets.
Chad Weiberg, director of athletics at OSU, said: “Our goal is to provide OSU fans an unrivalled college game-day experience. We have a collection of some of the most fan-friendly stadium amenities in college sports. But we realise the experience starts long before our fans get to campus.
“This partnership with Paciolan, and their leadership within college athletics, will provide the technology and resources to activate this important relationship with our fans and POSSE members long before they arrive in Stillwater.”
The OSU marketing team will also utilise Paciolan’s marketing automation solution, which is powered by Oracle Eloqua. OSU staff are able to create personalised marketing campaigns based on various activities, preferences, purchase history and donor status.
The marketing automation tool is also integrated into the Salesforce CRM platform and is backed up by Salesforce administration services by Paciolan.
Paciolan’s digital marketing team will work with OSU Athletics to offer rich marketing campaigns that include paid search, display, social and video, to acquire new customers, engage existing fans and grow revenue.
OSU will continue to use the Fanbase platform, which is powered by Paciolan’s parent company Learfield, to understand customers better and create customised marketing campaigns. Paciolan will further work with Oklahoma State on its fundraising efforts through its solution, PAC Fund. This allows season ticket holders and donors a one-stop-shop to buy tickets, donate to OSU athletics, manage priority points and take advantage of other donor benefits.
OSU will also leverage Paciolan-owned Ballena Technologies to offer fans virtual views of the athletics venues before purchasing tickets.
Kim Damron, president and chief executive of Paciolan, added: “Oklahoma State’s forward-thinking staff are in a perfect position to take full advantage of all of the Paciolan solutions and services. We are excited to welcome them to the Paciolan community of over 160 college institutions.”
