Gerry Cinnamon fans struggled to enter the Scottish singer’s Hampden Park show on Saturday, after reports of ticketing issues.
According to the Daily Record, a number of attendees experienced issues ahead of the first of two shows from Gerry Cinnamon in Glasgow over the weekend.
Fans were left frustrated at ecommerce and ticketing company Music Glue and promoter DF Concerts after their tickets would not scan at the gates. Tickets had been purchased from Music Glue for the concert in 2019, before it was eventually rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some missed performances from warm-up bands such as The Snuts, The Charlatans and Jake Bugg.
However, Music Glue said that it would fix the problem before yesterday (Sunday)’s performances. The company confirmed that there had been issues with the ticketing systems at Hampden Park on Saturday.
A spokesperson for Music Glue told the Daily Record: “There was an issue with two of the ticketing systems communicating with each other at two points last night. This was identified and rectified as quickly as possible, and fans are thanked for their patience during those points.”
The Sunday event had originally been added due to the overwhelming demand for the Hampden Park gig.
