Leyton Orient signs up Ticketmaster Sport

English League Two football club Leyton Orient has announced a long-term ticketing solution partnership with Ticketmaster Sport.

Match tickets for the 2022-23 season go on sale today on the new ticketing platform, with season cards being migrated from the previous ticketing platform during the season.

Leyton Orient previously utilised the VMS Ticketing solution from Venue Management Systems.

New features will include full mobile optimisation so fans can purchase and view tickets on their mobile device; digital season and match tickets; the ability to manage tickets, forward or upgrade using the new platform; a friends and family functionality; enhanced accessibility sales and a secondary market to allow season card holders to release seats if they can no longer attend a game.

Lucy Freeman, ticketing and retail manager for Leyton Orient, said: “We are extremely pleased and excited to be partnering with Ticketmaster, a global brand in their field.

“We are aware of the difficulties supporters have faced in the past and having listened to their issues, we are confident that our new ticketing partner will provide a first-class platform going forwards.”

Chris Gratton, chief operating officer, Ticketmaster Sport, added: “We’re looking forward to working with Leyton Orient F.C. so their fans can benefit from Ticketmaster’s cutting-edge technology. Fans will enjoy a seamless ticketing experience that will allow them to focus on supporting their team.”
