SeatGeek becomes official ticket provider for San Diego Open


Ticketing platform SeatGeek has today (Wednesday) announced a new multi-year partnership with the San Diego Open.

SeatGeek will become the official ticket provider for the tennis tournament, with organisers able to access products such as the backend technology platform, Unify.  The backend platform allows teams, theatres and arenas to create, sell and manage access to their live event ecosystem.

Organisers can sell tickets across all SeatGeek platforms, manage fan-specific data to enhance the experience for attendees and more.

Tennis fans will be able to purchase tickets and possibly save money through SeatGeek’s Deal Score technology, access their event-day details in the SeatGeek app and scan their mobile ticket for entry into Barnes Tennis Center.

Attendees will also be able to use SeatGeek Rally to personalise their match-day experiences.

SeatGeek also recently announced a $238m (£205m/€238m) Series E private financing round, with Ryan Smith, the owner of the Utah Jazz NBA basketball franchise, among the investors.
