The New England Patriots NFL team has increased its ticket prices for next season, the first time it has done so stadium-wide since 2008.
Season-ticket holders were sent a letter from the franchise yesterday (Wednesday) to inform them that there will be an increase in ticket prices throughout Gillette Stadium. The increase is set to be in place for the start of the new season.
While sections have seen an annual increase in rates, this will be the first time there will be a stadium-wide hike in ticket prices.
ESPN NFL Nation reporter Mike Reiss tweeted the news and said: “Patriots season-ticket members were informed today that the club is making its first stadium-wide price increase since 2008.”

Reiss added that there will be additional benefits including free general parking in all stadium-owned general parking lots, located across Route 1 from the stadium. Fans can also choose to park in the 75-minute delayed-release parking lot and earn a $50 Visa gift card for doing so. Season-ticket members will also have the option to purchase an electronic and transferable season parking pass for $225 to park stadium-side.
Gillette Stadium is currently undergoing renovations that were announced in December 2021.
The 65,878-capacity stadium opened in 2002 and this latest redevelopment project will feature a new plaza, a reimagined lighthouse and the largest outdoor stadium high-definition video board in the US. This is in addition to the south end improvements made in 2021.
This time last year, real estate and construction company Suffolk was selected as the construction partner for the project, which is expected to be completed before the 2023 NFL season.
