Two concertgoers have died following a concert from rappers GloRilla and Finesse2tymes in Rochester, New York.
A woman was killed after sustaining injuries from a crowd surge, before Rochester Police Department confirmed that a second attendee had also died.
The concert took place at Rochester’s Main Street Armory on Sunday.
Police confirmed that 33-year-old woman Rhondesia Belton had died on Sunday and 35-year-old Brandy Miller had died on Monday, while nine others were injured.
The crowd surge was caused by false fears of a shooting, with attendees rushing towards the exits.
GloRilla said on Twitter: “I am devastated & heartbroken over the tragic deaths that happened after Sunday’s show. My fans mean the world to me praying for their families & for a speedy recovery of everyone affected.”
