We round up the latest movements from the ticketing sector and associated industries.
Vivenu has appointed Keal Blache as its vice-president of marketing.
Most recently, Blache spent four years as an executive vice-president for TicketSocket, a white-label primary ticketing software provider. Before joining TicketSocket, Keal served as the chief marketing officer for Thumbprint.
Ticketing technology provider Vivenu said Blache brings a wealth of marketing experience from a variety of sectors, including collegiate athletic programs, pro sports, entertainment and ticketing.
Blache, who is based in Florida, will be a member of Vivenu’s management team, responsible for sharing the brand story with thought leaders in the event industry. He will also be a key driver of growth initiatives overseeing the brand, PR, marketing, and GTM engagements.
“I’m very fortunate to join such talented product-led pioneers disrupting how the world buys tickets”, said Keal. “I’m excited to invite the industry into the story, benefits, and freedom empowered by independent ticketing. There has never been a better time than now for experience owners to take back ownership of the important relationship with their customers. Every live event and many of our most memorable moments start with the purchase of a ticket.”
James Walker has returned to JCA as chief technology officer two years after departing his role as director of products.
Walker will oversee the company’s data science, engineering, and technology efforts. Walker most recently served as president of thankQ USA, the authorised North American distributor of thankQ CRM.
“James is a fantastic addition to the JCA team,” said JCA president and chief operating officer, James Minehart. “In his previous tenure with us, James proved himself to be a dedicated leader and an extraordinary collaborator. I look forward to partnering with James on JCA’s path ahead.”

In his new role, Diaz will work with the talent booking team to program Nederlander’s core venues, including City National Grove of Anaheim, Heart Health Park in Sacramento, and Hollywood Pantages Theatre. Additionally, he will seek new regional and national tour opportunities.
“Chris’s experience and capabilities make him an excellent addition to our already incredible talent team. He’ll contribute to our efforts and help us expand our presence, not only in California but in other markets and states,” said Alex Hodges, CEO of Nederlander Concerts. “As we continue to broaden our reach, it’s important to inject diverse strategies, and additional energy to our business. We are thrilled Chris Diaz has joined the team.”
