Atos, which specialises in digital transformation and is also the digital technology partner for the 2023 and 2027 editions of the European Games, has launched a new ticketing platform for this year’s event, which is set to be held in Poland.
The European Games will take place from June 21 to July 2 and the successful delivery of the ticketing platform was a key aspect for the European Olympic Committee (EOC). The Games are held under the responsibility of the EOC and the International Olympic Committee. The event is also the first Continental Olympic Qualification Tournament for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024.
The platform from Atos has offered users a personalised experience, with exclusive promotions throughout the purchasing process.
In addition to the ticketing platform, Atos has also developed and integrated key digital technologies for all stakeholders of the European Games, from fans to athletes, staff, broadcasters and volunteers.
These included the official website for the event, a data platform and mobile app for fans, a game management system for volunteers, accreditations and venue network, as well as the data management for all sports events.
Atos will also power the streaming production for 15 sports, with a total of 33 different feeds. Results will be delivered through a timing and scoring solution as well as a dedicated information system for commentators.
The second pool of tickets went on sale at the end of April, with 29 disciplines available for fans to watch.
