Bell Bank Park signs Tixr as a partner

Bell Bank Park, a new $280m (£204m/€245m) multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex in Mesa, Arizona, has signed commerce platform Tixr as a partner.

The new complex has been hailed as the largest of its kind in North America, and includes a multi-purpose arena, an outdoor 2.7-acre lawn for concerts and events and multiple indoor and outdoor facilities for sports and entertainment activities.

The venue is owned by Legacy Sports USA and is operated by Oak View Group (OVG) Facilities. The complex signed a 10-year naming rights deal with privately-owned North Dakota-based bank, Bell Bank, back in September.

As part of the deal with Tixr, Bell Bank Park will utilise the company’s ticketing platform and software for ticketed areas and events that are due to be held at the newly-opened facility.

Tixr will hold the naming rights for the venue’s 2.7-acre live performance lawn and stage, which will be called Tixr Yard. Tixr also holds the naming rights for Bell Bank Park’s gaming centre, which holds 90 arcade machines, 75 gaming PCs and a competitive esports competition space. The gaming hub will be known as the Tixr Gaming Center.

Brett Miller, president of Legacy Sports USA, said: “We’re excited to announce Tixr as one of our founding partners of Bell Bank Park. Tixr’s dynamic ticketing platform makes access to Bell Bank Park an easy process for our guests. We’re proud to have them as a founding partner.”

OVG’s Rodney Reese, who is serving as the general manager of Bell Bank Park, said: “Tixr enables us to create a seamless experience for our guests whether they are attending a live sporting event or concert, or participating in an event.”

Construction began on Bell Bank Park in September 2020 and is now open to the public.
