Tourism and culture platform Lovetovisit.com has partnered with tours and activities company, Musement.
The collaboration will mean the new platform will take bookings for Musement’s portfolio of attractions such as The Tower of London, The London Eye, Harry Potter Studios, Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, as well as other UK tourist hotspots.
Lovetovisit.com, which has a base in Cardiff and London, is set to officially go live this month, following a delay announced last year.
Co-founders Fed Pereira, Alice Aubrey and Georgia Aubrey have already secured funding for the new project, but have recently launched a new crowdfunding campaign with equity crowdfunding platform, Seedrs. The funding will go live February 17.
Lovetovisit.com will offer tourists the chance to book free and ticketed events, exhibitions, shows and festivals. Some 1,500 attractions and tens of thousands of events have already signed up, according to the platform.
Every geographical area of the UK can be searched to find things to do and the ticketing portal is fully integrated, meaning the platform is a one-stop shop for information, inspiration and booking.
Georgia Aubrey, partnerships director and co-founder of Lovetovisit.com, said: “This is a significant milestone for us to partner with an international brand like Musement and be able to offer our users the opportunity to book world-class attractions and tours.
“This is a beautiful partnership between the hyper-local content we provide and the global content and reach Musement has. It’s a pleasure working with them.”
Alka Carter-Manning, director, supply management Northern and Central Europe, Musement, said: “The UK is full of wonderful things to do, and over the last 18 months we have steadily grown our collection of fantastic excursions, activities and attraction tickets, from entrances to Britain’s most famous theme parks and museums, to truly unique local experiences and adventures.
“Lovetovisit.com provides an alternative way to find the best expires and we are delighted to be its tours and activities partner as the platform launches.”
