Ticketek partners with Marriner Group


Ticketing and data insights provider Ticketek has agreed a long-term partnership with theatre company Marriner Group. 

Ticketek will provide Marriner Group, which is one of the largest privately-owned theatre companies in Australia, with its ticketing technology, marketing and data insights during the deal. 

Marriner Group is the owner and operator of numerous theatres in Melbourne, including the Princess Theatre, Regent Theatre, Comedy Theatre and Forum Melbourne. The group is currently hosting international musicals including Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Moulin Rouge! The Musical and Jagged Little Pill. 

“We are absolutely delighted to have chosen Ticketek as ticketing provider for our theatres, which have a long and proud heritage,” said Jason Marriner, chief executive of Marriner Group. “Marriner Group selected Ticketek due to its compelling ticketing proposition, its consistent track record of innovation and advanced data and insights capabilities.

“These will enhance our business and provide our customers with an increasingly seamless purchase and performance day experience.” 

Ticketek is part of TEG and Marriner Group will not only utilise Ticketek’s ticketing solutions, but will also gain access to TEG’s data insights and marketing research platform Ovation.
