Granted, a new experiential ticketing platform, has announced its public launch and a $3m (£2.2m/€2.6m) seed investment.
The new platform will offer tickets to concerts and sporting events globally and aims to develop a secondary market offering to give artists and creators access to royalties.
Granted has been designed for millennials, Generation Z concert-goers and fans of all ages to discover new music. The platform will include three product offerings – live event tickets to concerts and sporting events, VIP packages for concert tours, and artist and athlete auctions that benefit chosen charities.
The female-owned platform has also designed, developed and minted custom NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and has made it possible for cryptocurrency to be accepted.
VIP experiences include exclusive tour packages, meet and greet upgrades and early entry. Management aimed to keep prices competitive and aligned with current ticketing and package rates, with Granted auctions ranging from $500 to $30,000.
Granted has already run successful VIP experiences for the fight between YouTuber Logan Paul and boxer Floyd Mayweather, a party with DJs Kygo, Zedd and Gryffin and a FaceTime with Shaquille O’Neal or a follow from the NBA icon on social platform, Instagram.
Shayma Hersair, chief executive of Granted, said: “2022 is going to be the year Granted spreads its wings. We spent 2021 building a custom platform that is both agile and user-friendly.
“This coming year will be spent adding new features that aid in the discovery of new and emerging artists, creating more engaging purchase flows for consumers, and announcing unique fan activations and VIP partnerships.”
Hersair added: “At the end of the day, we’re just fans of music. This industry has operated the same way for too long – it’s time to shake things up.”
