Qatar Football Association (QFA) and ticketing platform Ticketmaster Sport have extended their partnership, with a new multi-year deal.
QFA will utilise the partnership with Ticketmaster to offer 100% digital ticketing with customised branding, box office and access control solutions.
Dimitrios Petropoulos, business development director, Ticketmaster Sport, said: “We are honoured to continue our partnership with QFA and thank them for the trust they have shown in us.
“Our tailored sporting solutions will provide football fans with a superior service, with our leading digital ticketing technology ensuring a seamless experience from ticket discovery right through to the match.”
Khalid Al Kuwari, director of marketing and communication, Qatar FA, added: “Ticketing is a crucial part of professional football since it connects fans with their favourite teams.
“Ticketmaster provides industry leading tools to the QFA family, including a digital ticketing solution, helping us to ensure the safety of live sport for all fans.”
Live Nation-owned Ticketmaster also recently renewed its partnership with Kraft Sports and Entertainment, which owns National Football League (NFL) franchise New England Patriots, Major League Soccer (MLS) side New England Revolution and Gillette Stadium, where the teams play their home games.
Fans attending matches, concerts and events held at Gillette Stadium will continue to utilise digital ticketing, with the ability to manage their verified tickets in a digital wallet or the Gillette Stadium app. The app is powered by Ticketmaster’s Nexus Partners program.
