Bradford City breaks season ticket sale record

Bradford City AFC has sold over 14,000 early-bird season tickets, a League Two record for the English club.

Early-bird season tickets had gone on sale on April 14, with prizes frozen at £198 ($244/€230) – the price of an adult season ticket for the 2021-22 campaign.

The current figure of 14,036 has beaten the club’s previous League Two season ticket sale record of 13,614, which was set ahead of the 2019-20 season.

Season tickets remain on sale, with prices now ranging from £300 for an adult to £45 for children aged 11 and under. Tickets can be purchased on the club’s website and at its all-new Valley Parade Ticket Office at Utilita Energy Stadium (pictured).

Bradford City chief executive officer, Ryan Sparks, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has so far secured a season ticket ahead of 2022-23 for your magnificent, loyal support – in what are testing times for many people – as we continue to prepare for the coming campaign.

“To have broken our record for season-ticket sales in this division is testament to your brilliant backing, and represents a special achievement for the club, one which we can all be proud of.”

Sparks added: “We cannot wait to see you all packing out the stands at Valley Parade next season, as Mark Hughes, Glyn Hodges and our players go in search of success.”
