Rock legends Guns N’ Roses have announced plans for a major world tour that will begin in Israel this June.
The band – featuring singer Axl Rose and guitarist Slash – will headline stadiums, festivals, and arenas throughout the summer in Europe before switching to North America for the first time in two years in autumn.
Guns N’ Roses begin their Live Nation-backed jaunt on June 5 in Tel Aviv, Israel at Park Hayarkon and will continue across Europe through July 22, wrapping in Athens, Greece. Stops include London’s Hyde Park, Circo Massimo in Rome and Frankfurt’s Deutsch Bank Park.
The band will continue onto North America, starting on August 5 in Moncton at Medavie Blue Cross Stadium, and will visit historic venues across the country such as Fenway Park in Boston on August 21 and Wrigley Field in Chicago on August 24. The tour concludes in Vancouver at BC Place on Monday, October 16.
Tickets will be available starting with the band’s Nightrain Presale, which begins today (Wednesday, Feb 22) at 10am local time. The general on-sale for all dates will start beginning Friday, February 24 on the band’s website.
Guns N’ Roses’ Not In This Lifetime… Tour from 2016-19 has been recognised as the third-highest grossing tour of all time.
Earlier this month it was announced that U2, another band that began playing stadiums in the 1980s, will take up a residency at the new MSG Sphere in Las Vegas.
