FairShare
Marketplace TicketSwap has introduced FairShare, a new feature that will allow any profit on tickets sold on the secondary ticket market to be shared more equally between the ticket seller and event organiser. This means that TicketSwap and fans will help to invest in the event industry and support event organisers, as well as having fewer overpriced tickets in circulation. Tickets may only be resold for a maximum of 20% more than face value through TicketSwap.
Neighbourhood jazz
Chicago’s Bronzeville Neighbourhood Jazz Festival has opted to partner with INSID3RS to utilise its blockchain ticketing and gamification solution. Bronzeville Neighbourhood Jazz Festival is set to take place on August 5, and will feature talent from across the US.

Screening solutions
Xtract One Technologies, a provider of threat detection and security solutions, has announced that Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, a 58,000-capacity stadium in Memphis, Tennessee, is set to utilise its SmartGateway patron screening solution. The solution will help to add extra security for live events.

Live-stream concert platform Mandolin has closed its doors after three years of operating. The platform found success during the COVID-19 pandemic, which put a stop to live events and touring. In a statement, the company said: “While Mandolin can no longer be the platform to support these special kinds of experiences, we sincerely believe in the power of fans to uplift the entire music community for the better.”
