Enter Thee Hottieverse
Megan Thee Stallion’s Hottieverse VR Concert Tour will now be available through the Meta Quest App Lab. Fans will be able to access the full VR concert with new interactive elements and other fandom essentials. Fans can now find AmazeVR’s app and a preview song from the VR Concert for free.
Steve Lee, co-chief executive and co-founder of AmazeVR, said: “The Enter Thee Hottieverse VR Concert Tour gave fans the chance to connect with Megan Thee Stallion in a new way. Now, our at-home VR concert is the next step in sharing this experience with those who weren’t able to join us on tour.”
Theatre at home
The National Theatre has partnered with American Express to offer a complimentary rental of a filmed production of Suzie Miller’s Prima Facie. Starting yesterday (Tuesday), American Express cardmembers can enjoy the free rental of Prima Facie, which stars Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer and ran at the Harold Pinter Theatre earlier this year.
Prima Facie is available through National Theatre’s At Home streaming platform.
Mariah Carey’s festive Roblox concerts
Mariah Carey is set to perform a number of virtual concerts on Roblox’s Livetopia platform this month. ‘Mariah Carey’s Winter Wonderland’ will be sure to get fans in the Christmas mood, with the virtual shows taking place between December 21-24.
Carey will perform old and new hits across the concerts, including her holiday classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’. Carey’s ‘Winter Wonderland’ will also feature a Christmas-themed treasure hunt, item drops and more.
Nifter begins seed funding round
Technology company ClickStream Corp has announced that its subsidiary Nifter has started a $40m (£32m/€38m) seed funding round to expand its global operations, hire an international team, advance acquisition efforts, produce tours and conduct large-scale marketing campaigns.
The marketplace is set to expand beyond music and will support art, video and memorabilia NFTs (non-fungible tokens). It will also launch a production arm to partner with artists for producing live events, distributing music/video to Apple Music, Spotify, Neftlix and more, while also utilising NFTs as event tickets and documenting royalties.
