Theatre at home

The National Theatre has partnered with American Express to offer a complimentary rental of a filmed production of Suzie Miller’s Prima Facie. Starting yesterday (Tuesday), American Express cardmembers can enjoy the free rental of Prima Facie, which stars Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer and ran at the Harold Pinter Theatre earlier this year.

Prima Facie is available through National Theatre’s At Home streaming platform.

Mariah Carey’s festive Roblox concerts

Mariah Carey is set to perform a number of virtual concerts on Roblox’s Livetopia platform this month. ‘Mariah Carey’s Winter Wonderland’ will be sure to get fans in the Christmas mood, with the virtual shows taking place between December 21-24.

Carey will perform old and new hits across the concerts, including her holiday classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’. Carey’s ‘Winter Wonderland’ will also feature a Christmas-themed treasure hunt, item drops and more.

Nifter begins seed funding round

Technology company ClickStream Corp has announced that its subsidiary Nifter has started a $40m (£32m/€38m) seed funding round to expand its global operations, hire an international team, advance acquisition efforts, produce tours and conduct large-scale marketing campaigns.

The marketplace is set to expand beyond music and will support art, video and memorabilia NFTs (non-fungible tokens). It will also launch a production arm to partner with artists for producing live events, distributing music/video to Apple Music, Spotify, Neftlix and more, while also utilising NFTs as event tickets and documenting royalties.
