If you’ve taken a look at the updates AttendStar has been making during the latter part of 2020, you may have noticed that we’ve been adding to our team of ticketing and event experts. Today, I’d like to introduce you to one of our newest team members, Tyler Disch, whose focus will be on partner sales.
Actually, this is not the first time Tyler has worked with AttendStar. He started helping us a year ago, but as we wind down the tumultuous year that 2020 has been, Tyler’s role has grown to help educate event organizers about the new AttendStar Venue Directory!
Just like everyone else working in and with the event industry this year, we’ve suffered during 2020 at AttendStar. While events became more infrequent (or nonexistent for a bit) and it took time for online events to ramp up, we invested our time into improving our software, finding new ways to support event planners and committees, and adding key people to our team.
At AttendStar, we’re known for delivering the best service to our clients in addition to a comprehensive ticketing platform and services that anyone can afford. Our new free Venue Directory is just one way we do it by helping venues book more events and helping event organizers find the perfect locations.
About Tyler Disch and His Role at AttendStar
Tyler’s role is to spread the word about the new Venue Directory. We’re taking free signups from venues now, so don’t be surprised if Tyler calls you to tell you about it!
“Not only does the Venue Directory help connect venues with event planners and committees, but it’s also free – always,” says Tyler. “The directory will never include advertising, and AttendStar will never sell anyone’s data. This isn’t a profit-making tool for AttendStar. The primary purpose is to help the event community.”
With a background in marketing and sales, Tyler understands what event planners need and is a perfect fit for the AttendStar team. “AttendStar’s founder, Gary Bradshaw, and everyone at AttendStar has a passion for events and growing events, especially big outdoor events,” he shares. “AttendStar really is a partner to every client and provides personalized attention, onsite support, marketing, logistics, and of course, ticketing. I’m very happy to be a part of the team.”
Tyler explains what makes AttendStar different saying, “The top competitors don’t offer the same level of personalization. At what other ticketing company does the founder attend clients’ events to make sure everything goes smoothly? What other company sends a team member out to the event to help? What other company sets up dedicated phone numbers for clients to make communications as easy as possible? AttendStar does all of it and more for so many of its clients’ events!”
In addition to sharing the availability of the Venue Directory with venues and event planners, Tyler will be explaining another way that AttendStar is trying to help the event industry.
“Since the event industry had such a rough year, it’s important for everyone to know that the services AttendStar provides don’t involve any costs to the events themselves,” he explains. “Even if an event is cancelled, AttendStar doesn’t charge a thing. It’s just how we do business – before and after COVID.”
