We’re so excited to be getting back out there and reconnecting in person with friends in the event industry! We already have some trade shows on our schedule for the upcoming three months, and we hope to see you at one or more of them. Below is a rundown of where we’ll be and when as well as some details about each of these great shows that you don’t want to miss.
International Association of Fairs and Expos (IAFE) Annual Convention
Come and meet the AttendStar team at Booth #328 during the International Association of Fairs and Expos Annual Convention at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas on November 28 through December 1, 2021. This is our second year at this industry trade show, and not only will our team be on the expo floor to show you how you can use the AttendStar platform to sell more tickets, boost your fair ROI, and ensure your event is more successful than ever, but we’re also involved in a panel discussion.
I’ll be a panel member for the “Maximizing Ticketless Transactions for Profit and Guest ROI” discussion (date, time, and location to be announced). We’ll be discussing how you can use the data from online ticketing to sell more tickets, sell sponsorships, promote upsells, help with traffic and weather issues on the days of your fair, and how to use all of the data for planning your next fair. It’s going to be a conversation filled with useful information that you can use to make your next fair as successful as possible, and I hope to see you at the session! The IAFE Convention and Trade Show is promoted as the largest gathering of the fair industry in the world. Attendees work with fairs of all sizes – from small county fairs to the largest events across the globe. At the IAFE’s annual convention, they all come together to learn, to share ideas, network, and find new products and services. This year’s convention will feature more than 300 exhibitors and four days of educational workshops, Institute of Fair Management courses, networking opportunities, and more.
International Council of Air Shows (ICAS) Convention
The International Council of Air Shows Convention will be held at the Paris Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6-9, 2021, and the AttendStar team will be at booth #326-328 throughout the event. This is our 10th year at this show. I’ve participated as a past speaker and panel member, and this year, AttendStar is a convention sponsor.
The ICAS Convention will offer attendees a 60,000 square foot exhibit hall, networking sessions, forum discussions, educational sessions, and more. In addition, multiple award presentations, ceremonies, and banquets will be held over the four-day event.
Virginia Association of Fairs (VAF) Conference
AttendStar will be participating in the Virginia Association Fairs Conference on January 6-9, 2022 at the Williamsburg Lodge in Williamsburg, Virginia for the first time! We’re really excited to be a part of this show. We don’t have a booth number yet, but we’ll share it in our newsletter as soon as it’s available.
