Tickets.com has reunited with Major League Baseball’s Baltimore Orioles in a multi-year agreement, after originally partnering between 2013 and 2018.
The Orioles will be using Ticket.com’s suite of ticketing software at Camden Yards, which includes the ProVenue platform. The solution is a full-service integrated ticketing solution which enables ticket sales, and collates and optimises fan data.
T.J Brightman, Orioles senior vice president, chief revenue officer, said: “The Orioles are excited to once again partner with Tickets.com to provide fans with a streamlined and user-friendly ticket-managing experience.
“Oriole Park at Camden Yards is one of the premier entertainment destinations in the region, and we are looking forward to further enhancing the ballpark experience through this partnership with Tickets.com.”
The Orioles will also be utilising MyProVenue, a fan-facing web application which is designed to optimise the fan experience when purchasing tickets either through a desktop or a mobile. MyProVenue streamlines the act of buying the ticket as well as managing an account.
To complete the Tickets.com suite, the MLB side will also implement Alfred, an all-in-one access control solution. Alfred validates tickets and works with the ProVenue back-office solution to collate detailed fan entry data.
Joe Choti, president and chief executive, added: “We are thrilled to be brought back as the official ticketing software provider for the Baltimore Orioles.”
