Dedicated motorsport ticket provider Motorsport Tickets has appointed marketplace Twickets as its official ticketing reseller.
Motorsport fans will now have an outlet to resell their tickets for events they can no longer attend. Sellers can control their reselling process on the marketplace, which only allows tickets to be priced at their original face value. This means that fans cannot be ripped off by potential ticket touts or inflated prices.
The Motorsport Tickets website will have a banner for races that are applicable – meaning when the race is close to being sold out, fans can access Twickets quickly to try and grab a ticket.
Marketing director of Motorsport Tickets Richard Gibson-Venner said: “Motorsport Tickets is always striving to improve our customer offering and this partnership with Twickets will allow our motorsport fan base to sell their tickets with confidence, offering fans across Europe the opportunity to purchase tickets for sold-out races, knowing they will get a fair price.
“Many circuits in the F1 calendar do not allow refunds, so when circumstances arise and plans change ahead of race day, ticket holders will be able to access the largest available customer base for their ticket reselling needs.”
