Accesso pens strategic partnership with Sansei Technologies

Technology solutions provider Accesso Technology Group has signed a three-year strategic agreement with Sansei Technologies, a specialised equipment provider for operators in the leisure and entertainment industry.

Under the arrangement, Sansei will serve as the exclusive reseller of Accesso virtual queuing products in Japan, as Accesso seeks to expand the footprint of its virtual queuing technology in the country.

Sansei will lead regional efforts for target identification and also contribute to other areas of the sales process such as basic, local customer support, while Accesso will maintain control over the full solution design and system maintenance, as well as manage higher-level customer care.

Launched in 2001, Accesso’s LoQueue suite of virtual queuing solutions has been installed in venues across a range of markets, with multiple technology platforms designed for all types of attractions.

Sansei, which was founded in 1951, provides rides and attractions, theatre design, elevators and other specialised equipment to the leisure and entertainment industry.

“Accesso is the industry leader when it comes to virtual queuing, and the potential their technology holds for operators – especially when it comes to boosting operational revenue – is undeniable,” said Yasuharu Nishiyama, managing executive officer and division general manager for the amusement ride division at Sansei.

“We are excited to partner with Accesso and are eager to introduce the power of their virtual queuing solutions to operators here in Japan.”

Andrew Jacobs, chief commercial officer at Accesso, added: “For years, we’ve seen our virtual queuing technology redefine operations for theme parks and attractions around the world.

“Through this partnership, we look forward to delivering that same level of success to operators in Japan, and we’re grateful to do so with Sansei Technologies, an incredibly like-minded and well-connected partner.”
