Norwich is set to host a new festival from promoter Kilimanjaro Live in May, which will be headlined by indie band The Kooks.
Neck of the Woods is a one-day festival that will take place on Sunday, May 29. It will feature three stages and will welcome 14,000 music fans to Earlham Park.
The Kooks’ performance will mark the 15th anniversary of their first album, ‘Inside In/Inside Out’.
Special guests on the Main Stage will include Australian band DMA’s as well as London’s Sea Girls.

The Second Stage will host Brighton alternative rock band Yonaka while Kawala will provide afrobeat-inspired tunes to dance to. Fans can also expect Stage 3 to bring the noise, with The Goa Express having been announced. The band offers a mixture of psychedelic and rock to entice Neck of the Woods attendees over to the third stage.
The festival will also highlight new and local talent from across East Anglia, including musician Lozeak, who hails from Norwich.
Tickets are available on general sale from Friday at 10am and can be bought through ticket agents such as Gigantic(.com), Ticketmaster, Eventim and AXS.
Further sets will be played by artists such as The Royston Club, Stone, Deco and Rats.
Deco said in a Tweet: “Excited to be making our first trip to Norwich this summer! We’ll be playing at the brand new [Neck of the Woods] with The Kooks, DMA’s, Sea Girls and loads more.”
