Rugby World Cup 2023 and STH UK launch GB hospitality packages

STH UK, the hospitality sales agent for Great Britain for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, has launched its packages for English, Welsh and Scottish fans.

The Rugby World Cup is set to feature 20 teams across 48 matches in 51 days, taking place in nine venues across France.

STH UK is the sales arm of Sports Travel & Hospitality Group (STH Group), which is a joint venture between French food services and facilities management giant Sodexo and The Mike Burton Group, an entertainment services company based in Quedgeley, England.

Five tiers of hospitality will be available with prices starting at €1,100 (£925/$1,254) for multi-match options. Packages include the ‘Follow My Team’ option which is based on the team of your choice during the pool stages at all venues, and patrons are able to select two, three or four matches combined with official hospitality at the tournament.

‘L’Expert Pack’ will offer fans the ability to buy packages including knockout matches, such as the quarter-final, semi-final or final, or a combination. STH UK claims that if the fan’s chosen team does not make these rounds, they can apply for a refund.

‘Le Weekend’ will allow buyers to experience the action at multiple matches that take place at venues in close proximity over the same weekend. Two quarter-finals are due to take place in Paris and Marseille, or there are same-city options in Bordeaux, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Paris.

‘City Packs’ will present the opportunity to explore the host cities and regions of the Rugby World Cup in France.

Emily Tuffin, STH UK general manager, said: “Rugby World Cup 2023 promises to be a special tournament and an exceptional experience for rugby-lovers and fans of global sporting events. Live sporting events are proving more popular than ever, and we are expecting huge demand for one of the biggest sporting events in the calendar.”

STH UK was appointed as Great Britain’s official hospitality sales agent for Rugby World Cup France 2023 last year, and has previously provided hospitality programmes at Rugby World Cups in 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019.

Tuffin added: “Everyone at STH UK is proud to have been appointed as Great Britain’s exclusive hospitality sales agent for this tournament and we are committed to deliver an unparalleled experience for our clients.”
