MLS, NWSL and USL clubs utilise Project Admission platform

Project Admission, a platform that works with the live events, entertainment and sport industries to provide monetising features and opportunities around ticketing, has teamed up with a number of soccer teams in the US.

Major League Soccer (MLS)’s Austin FC, Houston Dynamo (pictured) and Sporting KC have partnered with Project Admission, joining Minnesota United and Portland Timbers in the company’s portfolio.

In the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), Houston Dash and Louisville Racing have joined Portland Thorns as clients, while United Soccer League teams Louisville City and Hartford Athletic have also signed up to utilise Project Admission’s digital ticketing and ticket distribution tools.

Project Admission’s platform provides these tools and monetising features to help manage the lifecycle of tickets for sports teams and clients in live entertainment. Its software can be integrated with ticketing platforms such as Seat Geek and Tickets(.com) and allows sports teams, artists and event producers to reach new audiences, collect data and capture downstream revenue.

Mike Quarino, MLS vice-president of club and fan development, said: “The popularity of Major League Soccer continues to grow at a rapid pace in America and we are constantly looking at technology to help support that growth.

“We look forward to seeing Project Admission support our clubs with their innovative platform as we continue to look for ways to further enhance the ticket experience for both teams and fans.”

Jacob Henselman, vice-president of ticket sales and service for Houston Dynamo and Dash, added: “Single game, theme nights, group sales and bulk distribution are an essential part to any team’s sales composition and we’re happy to have Project Admission’s support in executing those.

“The user-friendly platform has helped drive more business in this all-important sales category.”
