Tickets For Less acquires Ticket Express

Event distribution company Tickets For Less has acquired reseller Ticket Express, which is based in Omaha, Nebraska.

Ticket Express has provided clients with tickets across Nebraska and Western Iowa in the US for almost 30 years, and will now operate under the Tickets For Less brand.

It is hoped the strategic acquisition will bring Tickets For Less closer to the central US market, adding to its local media, sports and music partnerships.

Tickets For Less will provide services from office locations in Omaha and Tuscaloosa in Alabama. The company already has headquarters in the Kansas City region.

Founder and owner of Ticket Express, Chad Carr, will join the Tickets For Less team as Nebraska Area Manager.

Tickets For Less was founded in 2004 and has also recently completed the acquisition of Just Tix in San Francisco, California. The company has further acquired Ticket Solutions, Ace Sports and Brickhouse Tickets over recent years.

Ticket Express was founded by Carr in 1992 and is the reseller for the Nebraska Cornhusker football team which plays in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Football Bowl Subdivision, representing the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the West Division of the Big Ten, as well as the College World Series.
